happn Number - Your Login, Not Your Location
A happn account created with a phone number has no password: every time happn opens on a phone it does not recognise, it sends a code to that number and waits. Who you cross paths with comes from your location, never from the number - people you match with do not see it, and calls stay inside the app. A one-time number receives the signup code and is deleted about ten minutes later, which creates the account and nothing more. If this is a profile you intend to keep, the permanent number is the one still there when the next code comes.

Codes go where you are
Every incoming SMS to a permanent number is forwarded automatically to the destination you choose. A one-time number shows its code in your dashboard instead.
Call forwarding is a different number type: a voice number takes incoming calls and passes them to the destination you choose. Voice numbers in the dashboard
Why use a virtual number for happn
Happn is a location-based dating app that registers accounts with a phone number and an SMS code. A Happn virtual number gives you that code in your Freeje dashboard without using your own SIM, which suits anyone who prefers to keep a personal number off a dating profile, or who is setting up the app for a trip. A one-time number covers the first sign-up. If you plan to keep the profile and may need another code later, a permanent number is the better fit.
Which country to choose for happn
Happn is especially popular in France and across Europe, so a European number is a reasonable pick if the table lists one; the table shows today's availability, lowest one-time price first. Any listed country delivers the code to your dashboard in the same way. Permanent numbers are sold in part of the list only; open the country page for details.
