About Freeje
Freeje has rented virtual numbers for SMS verification since 2008 - eighteen years spent matching people and businesses with a number for the moment they actually need one, whether that's a single one-time code or an ongoing subscription line. Coverage has grown one carrier relationship at a time since then, from a handful of countries at launch to the 83 countries live in the catalog today, each one added only once there was a real line-up of numbers to offer - not just a name added to a map. That's also why growth here has been deliberate rather than a race to the biggest country count: a number that doesn't actually work when you need it isn't worth listing in the first place.
Freeje today
83 countries, 3,400+ services, and 1,000,000+ clients served - the same figures shown on our homepage, not a separate set kept just for this page. The country figure moves as carrier availability shifts, so a country's own page always carries its own live, current line-up rather than a number frozen in marketing copy months ago. The service figure keeps climbing as more messengers, marketplaces, and payment platforms add phone verification to their signup flow, and the client figure is the plainest of the three - simply a running count of how many people have used a Freeje number to get through a verification step.
Real numbers, not a phone farm
Part of our stock is real non-VoIP numbers - genuine carrier SIMs, not virtual lines - for the services that block VoIP numbers outright. That non-VoIP traffic runs through gateways we operate directly, not racks of budget phones running automated software, which is the setup usually behind a "phone farm." We describe the plumbing because it's the clearest signal we can give of a real operation: a farm of throwaway devices is easy to fake convincingly on a webpage, while a carrier gateway we operate ourselves, tested against the exact services people buy numbers for, is not.
Legal and compliant, always
Freeje operates within a clear legal framework: identity checks follow our AML/KYC Policy, and refunds - including the automatic one for a code that never arrives - follow our Refund Policy. Both documents set real limits on the service: verified accounts only, no fraud, no spam, no support for illegal activity of any kind. We publish those limits because a service willing to spell out what it won't do is one you can actually hold to it.
Need paperwork for a contract?
We don't publish our company registration details on the site - that's a deliberate choice, not an oversight. For a contract or an invoice, message our team through our contact page and we'll share what your finance department needs directly, rather than leaving it sitting in public view for anyone to copy.
